The Bible Bus with J Vernon McGee
"where the rubber meets the road"
The Bible Bus is set to embark on journey number eight through the whole word of God!
Your seat is waiting, there's gas in the tank and a fresh set of tires for the road as we look forward to beginning another exciting five-year excursion Thru The Bible. As always, Dr. J Vernon McGee is our teacher, but as he was quick to point out, the true bus driver is the Holy Spirit. Lord willing, and by His grace, on March 31, 2006, the Bible bus will make it's scheduled stop at the first of Dr. McGee's introductory lessons, "Guidelines for the Understanding of the Scriptures".
The first guideline is to pray and ask the Holy Spirit to be our teacher. Would you join us in that prayer, not only for the listeners here in North America starting this eighth trip, but for our audience around the world?
The final guideline is - "Pass it on!" So we encourage you to invite others to join us as we discover the loveliness of Jesus Christ, from Genesis to Revelation. They can listen by radio or online, request notes and outlines by phone, mail, or Internet sign-up, and even download the notes for free at www.ttb.org. What better time to introduce a loved one to this life-changing Book? And we pray that the Lord will bring new insights into His Word for our returning passengers as well!
We echo Dr. McGee's oft-stated desire for our listeners, "May God richly bless you, my beloved."
In the beginning was the Word; and the Word was with God, and the Word was God... The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all the saints. Amen. (John 1:1; 1Revelation 22:21)
