Our Senses Cannot Always Be Trusted

Our mind is the final arbiter of truth

Perpetually ascending staircase. How can the man go up all the time and come back to the same place over and over?

The red squares are the same color in the upper part and in the lower part of the "X"

The diagonal lines are parallel

There are no gray spots at the corners of the squares

The rows of black and white squares are all parallel

Impossible Triangle

Parallel lines at sunrise

The center circles are both the same size

The Vertical lines are both the same length

Three-prong fork

There are only white circles at the intersections

Wavy Squares? No!
The background of concentric circles makes the squares appear distorted

Rotating Wheels
The circles appear to rotate when you move your head closer and further away from the screen while looking at the dot in the center

Warped Square? There are no curved lines in this figure

So never make a decision based on your observations...
Think of what you saw and what you heard...
Analyze the facts and make the decision.

Hello.. Thank you for visiting.. I'm glad you enjoyed this site.. I hope you visit again!...

realizing so many bad thigs ive done in my 19 yrs. of my life and i can't believe i never had the courage to apologize to no one the way i did to him.

Well, but you did apologize, so it seems... and this is acceptable and pleasing to God... And to you also I am sure. The great thing about God is that he is patient and longsuffering, His mercy and forgiveness endures forever and ever.

I am glad that you had a chance to experience this truth. If so, then God has touched your heart and has revealed the things that are important for him, to teach to you. Seems to me that you are a good listener as well....

Wow, Wendell! Leave it to you to find a perfect teaching tool!!!

"There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death."

What a perfect way to illustrate this point! Thank you for getting my Sunday morning off to a spiritual start before I even leave for church! :)

L&F always,
Sylvia
