22 CHRISTIAN COMMANDMENTS

These are Higher than the 10 commandments
I THESSALONIANS CHAPTER 5:11
Jesus said: “Those who love me keep my commands”

1) COMFORT
Encouragement of the faithful
2) EDIFY
To build up the saints
3) KNOW Them
Teachers and Preachers
4) HONOR Them
For their work for the Lord
5) PEACE Among the saints
Peace is arrived from authority; no in-house fighting
(3, 4 and 5 apply together)
6) WARN or Rebuke
The unruly need to be warned
7) COMFORT the Feeble-minded
Those who are weak in the work of the Lord
8) SUPPORT the weak
Baby Christians who are new in the faith
9) PATIENCE
With all men
10) DO NOT FIGHT
Do not render evil for evil
11) DO THAT WHICH IS GOOD
Do well for all men for the sake of goodness
12) REJOICE
In the Lord for what He has do for us
13) PRAY
In every occasion
14) GIVE THANKS
In all circumstances; this IS the Will of God
(13 and 14 apply together)
15) Quench not the Spirit
Do not refuse the will of God. Not listening to the Holy Spirit
16) DESPISE NOT PROPHESYINGS
This is the word of God. The Biblical doctrine
17) PROVE ALL THINGS
Do not accept anything without proving it. Do not be deceived. Investigate.
18) HOLD FAST THAT WHICH IS TRUE
Stand for truth in all occasions
19) ASSTAIN FROM ALL APPEARANCE OF EVIL
20) PRAY FOR THOSE WHO GIVE OUT THE GOSPEL
21) GREAT ALL BROTHERS WITH A HOLY KISS
Today, a warm handshake is the modern equivalent. This demonstrates benevolence
22) THIS EPISTLE IS TO BE READ BY ALL SAINTS
